A mistake, a wake-up call, perhaps a divine sign. We have been locked up for three months now. The alterations that the planet has had to undergo, and the ways in which the pandemic has made us question our lifestyles and ideologies are countless. The world as we knew it has collapsed at our feet and has taken with it some of our most precious projects and dreams. Catastrophes have never crushed visions, they’ve simply delayed them. From the medieval plagues to the crusades, from atomic bombs to natural disasters, humans have always known how to move forward. 

As the ways we are working and connecting have become more dynamic, we have also felt that it’s time for the way of travelling and meeting to evolve. We’ve been presented with the idea that the more you know the better, but many times the “more for more” has turned its back on quality. More countries, more people, more attractions, more, more, more. It’s beautiful but you lose sight of what is truly special, you miss the opportunity to truly meet, relate to the environment, to make your trip a part of yourself and less than just a simple chapter. Un error, un llamado de atención, quizás una señal divina. El hecho es que encerrados hemos tenido que permanecer por 3 meses y contando. Las alteraciones que el planeta y los efectos que esta pandemia ha dejado en nuestras formas de vivir y pensar son innumerables. El mundo como lo conocíamos se ha derrumbado a nuestros pies y se ha llevado consigo algunos de nuestros más preciados proyectos y sueños. Pero la catástrofe nunca ha demostrado ser un impedimento, a lo mucho quizás tan solo un retraso. Desde las plagas del siglo 15 hasta las cruzadas, desde las bombas atómicas a los huracanes, el ser humano siempre se ha levantado y avanzado. Ha mostrado ser capaz de construir algo mejor que lo anterior. 

Así como se ha dinamizado la forma de trabajar y de conectarnos, también sentimos que es hora de que evolucione nuestra forma de viajar y conocer. Se nos ha sido planteada la idea de que mientras más se conoce mejor, pero muchas veces el ‘más por más’ le ha dado la espalda a la calidad. Más países, más gente, más atracciones, más, más, más.
